MOQ is confirmed by model and order structure
Office furniture buyers often ask for one universal MOQ, but the workable quantity can vary by model, finish, packaging and production arrangement. A useful request identifies the exact model numbers, quantities and destination before asking the factory to confirm the minimum order basis.
Do not treat a catalogue image or an old quotation as a permanent MOQ commitment. The confirmed quotation and order documents control the commercial terms for the current project.
- Model number and selected size
- Quantity by finish or colour
- Required accessories and storage
- Destination country or port
- Target order and delivery timing
Build a mixed order from a line-by-line schedule
Importers and dealers may need executive desks, workstations, meeting tables, reception desks and storage in one sourcing programme. List every model and quantity on separate lines so the supplier can review production compatibility, packing and loading requirements.
Keep unknown items marked for confirmation. If a model has several dimensions or configurations, select the required option instead of combining them under one quantity.
Container planning depends on final packing data
Product dimensions are not carton dimensions. Container planning needs the confirmed package size, carton count and final quantity for every model. Preliminary loading estimates should be revised after the packing schedule is approved.
When the order will be redistributed to dealers or separate project floors, request model and carton identification that matches the purchase order and packing list. This helps the receiving team control a mixed shipment.
- Carton quantity by model
- Package dimensions when confirmed
- Hardware and accessory carton identification
- Loading sequence or destination grouping
- Final packing-list revision
Turn the guide into a model quotation.
Send model numbers or a room schedule, quantities, destination and timing. BG will confirm the next commercial step.
Prepare an RFQ ↗Frequently asked questions
Can different BG office furniture models be loaded in one container?
A mixed-model order can be reviewed after BG receives the model list, quantities, finishes, destination and timing. The workable mix is confirmed from production and final packing data.
Is product size enough to calculate container quantity?
No. Container planning requires final carton dimensions, carton count and confirmed order quantities, which can differ from the assembled product dimensions.
What should an importer send for an MOQ review?
Send the model numbers, selected sizes, quantities, finishes, destination port and target timing so the factory can review the order on a consistent basis.
